Company History

USA Production Parts, Inc. was formed in 1997 when General Motors Service parts contracted to transfer 482 of its current parts due to Magna International closing its plant in Carrollton, Georgia. Upon receipt and inspection of tools it was determined that preventative maintenance had not been in place. Unique Tool and Bending, a sister company, was contracted to refurbish all tools to produce a PPAP at current day standards. However, this became an enduring challenge due to the age of many of the tools, some 30-35 years old.

After all GMSPO parts were PPAP and in production, the management decided to pursue customers in rubber sealing systems for the automotive industry. All of these companies purchase their steel components outside their plants. During the next two years, 46 parts were acquired from Hutchinson Sealing Systems and Metzeler Automotive Profile Systems.

Over the next few years, USA continued to acquire other customers such as Trane and Pyramid Mouldings. In 2001 Unarco Material Handling contracted with USA to produce its storage and rack accessory components for Home Depot, Lowes and Wal-Mart. As the volume increased, we presented exposure to other companies, and now provide roll form sections to a wide variety of industries.

USA currently has two facilities; 32,000 sq. Ft., and 50,000 sq. ft. All are located in the Gainesville, Georgia area.
